और उन्हें कसदियोंके शास्त्र और भाषा की शिझा दे।5TSKCOMAnd the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.5TSKCOMരാജാവു അവർക്കു രാജഭോജനത്തിൽനിന്നും താൻ കുടിക്കുന്ന വീഞ്ഞിൽനിന്നും നിത്യവൃത്തി നിയമിച്ചു; अर्यात् दानिय्थेल का नाम उस ने बेलतशस्सर, हनन्याह का शद्रक, मीशाएल का मेशक, और अजर्याह का नाम अबेदनगो रखा।।8TSKCOMBut Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.8TSKCOMഎന്നാൽ രാജാവിന്റെ ഭോജനംകൊണ്ടും അവൻ കുടിക്കുന്ന വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും തന്നെത്താൻ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു ദാനീയേൽ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു, തനിക്കു അശുദ്ധി ഭവിപ്പാൻ ഇടവരുത്തരുതെന്നു ഷണ്ഡാധിപനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.8TSKCOMEnnaal raajaavinre bhojanamkontum avan kutikkunna veenjnjukontum thannethaan ashudhamaakkukayilla ennu daaneeyel hridayathil nishchayichu, thanikku ashudhi bhavippaan itavarutharuthennu shandaadhipanotu apekshichu.8TSKCOMपरन्तु दानिय्थेल ने अपके मन में ठान लिया कि वह राजा का भोजन खाकर, और उसके पीने का दाखमधु पीकर अपवित्र न होए; इसलिथे उस ने खोजोंके प्रधान से बिनती की कि उसे अपवित्र न होना पके।9TSKCOMNow God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.9TSKCOMദൈവം ദാനീയേലിന്നു ഷണ്ഡാധിപന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ദയയും കരുണയും ലഭിപ്പാൻ ഇടവരുത്തി.9TSKCOMDaivam daaneeyelinnu shandaadhipanre mumpil dayayum karunayum labhippaan itavaruthi.9TSKCOMपरमेश्वर ने खोजोंके प्रधान के मन में दानिय्थेल के प्रति कृपा और दया भर दी।10TSKCOMAnd the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.10TSKCOMഷണ്ഡാധിപൻ ദാനീയേലിനോടു: നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭക്ഷണവും പാനീയവും നിയമിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള എന്റെ യജമാനനായ രാജാവിനെ ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; avan ningalute mukham ningalute samapraayakkaaraaya baalanmaarutethinotu othunokkiyaal melinjnjukaanunnathu enthinnu? anganeyaayaal ningal raajasannidhiyil enre thalekku apakatam varuthum ennu paranjnju.10TSKCOMऔर खोजोंके प्रधान ने दानिय्थेल से कहा, मैं अपके स्वामी राजा से डरता हूं, क्योंकि तुम्हारा खाना-पीना उसी ने ठहराया है, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि वह तेरा मुंह तेरे संगी के जवानोंसे उतरा हुआ और उदास देखे और तुम मेरा सिर राजा के साम्हने जाखिम में डालो।11TSKCOMThen said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,11TSKCOMദാനീയേലോ ഷണ്ഡാധിപൻ ദാനീയേലിന്നും ഹനന്യാവിന്നും മീശായേലിന്നും അസർയ്യാവിന്നും വിചാരകനായി നിയമിച്ചിരുന്ന മെൽസറിനോടു:11TSKCOMDaaneeyelo shandaadhipan daaneeyelinnum hananyaavinnum meeshaayelinnum asaryyaavinnum vichaarakanaayi niyamichirunna melsarinotu:11TSKCOMतब दानिय्थेल ने उस मुखिथे से, जिसको खोजोंके प्रधान ने दानिय्थेल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल, और अजर्याह के ऊपर देखभाल करने के लिथे नियक्त किया या, कहा,12TSKCOMProve thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.12TSKCOMഅടിയങ്ങളെ പത്തു ദിവസം പരീക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കിയാലും; അവർ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തിന്മാൻ ശാകപദാർത്ഥവും കുടിപ്പാൻ പച്ചവെള്ളവും തന്നു നോക്കട്ടെ.12TSKCOMAtiyangale pathu divasam pareekshichunokkiyaalum; avar njangalkku thinmaan shaakapadaarthavum kutippaan pachavellavum thannu nokkatte.12TSKCOMमैं तेरी बिनती करता हूं, अपके दासोंको दस दिन तक जांच, हमारे खाने के लिथे सागपात और पीने के लिथे पानी ही दिया जाए।13TSKCOMThen let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.13TSKCOMഅതിന്റെ ശേഷം ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുഖവും രാജഭോജനം കഴിക്കുന്ന ബാലന്മാരുടെ മുഖവും തമ്മിൽ നീ ഒത്തു നോക്കുക; പിന്നെ കാണുന്നതുപോലെ അടിയങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തുകൊൾക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.13TSKCOMAthinre shesham njangalute mukhavum raajabhojanam kazhikkunna baalanmaarute mukhavum thammil nee othu nokkuka; pinne kaanunnathupole atiyangalotu cheythukolka ennu paranjnju.13TSKCOMफिर दस दिन के बाद हमारे मुंह और जो जवान राजा का भोजन खाते हैं उनके मुंह को देख; and gave them pulse.16TSKCOMഅങ്ങനെ മെൽസർ അവരുടെ ഭോജനവും അവർ കുടിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വീഞ്ഞും നീക്കി അവർക്കു ശാകപദാർത്ഥം കൊടുത്തു.16TSKCOMAngane melsar avarute bhojanavum avar kutikkentunna veenjnjum neekki avarkku shaakapadaartham kotuthu.16TSKCOMतब वह मुखिया उनका भोजन और उनके पीने के लिथे ठहराया हुआ दाखमधु दोनोंछुड़ाकर, उनको सागपात देने लगा।।17TSKCOMAs for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.17TSKCOMഈ നാലു ബാലന്മാർക്കോ ദൈവം സകലവിദ്യയിലും ജ്ഞാനത്തിലും നീപുണതയും സമാർത്ഥ്യവും കൊടുത്തു; ദാനീയേൽ സകലദർശനങ്ങളെയും സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെയും സംബന്ധിച്ചു വിവേകിയായിരുന്നു.17TSKCOMEe naalu baalanmaarkko daivam sakalavidyayilum jnjaanathilum neepunathayum samaarthyavum kotuthu; daaneeyel sakaladarshanangaleyum svapnangaleyum sambandhichu vivekiyaayirunnu.17TSKCOMऔर परमेश्वर ने उन चारोंजवानोंको सब शस्त्रों, और सब प्रकार की विद्याओं में बुद्धिमानी और प्रवीणता दी; അവർ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു നിന്നു.19TSKCOMRaajaavu avarotu samsaarichaare avaril ellaavarilum vechu daaneeyel, hananyaavu, meeshaayel, asaryyaavu ennivarkku thulyamaayi oruthaneyum kantilla; avar raajasannidhiyil shushrooshekku ninnu.19TSKCOMऔर राजा उन से बातचीत करने लगा; और दानिय्थेल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल, और अजर्याह के तुल्य उन सब में से कोई न ठहरा; इसलिथे वे राजा के सम्मुख हाजिर रहने लगे।20TSKCOMAnd in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.20TSKCOMരാജാവു അവരോടു ജ്ഞാനവിവേകസംബന്ധമായി ചോദിച്ചതിൽ ഒക്കെയും അവരെ തന്റെ രാജ്യത്തെല്ലാടവുമുള്ള സകല മന്ത്രവാദികളിലും ആഭിചാരകന്മാരിലും പത്തിരട്ടി വിശിഷ്ടന്മാരെന്നു കണ്ടു.20TSKCOMRaajaavu avarotu jnjaanavivekasambandhamaayi chodichathil okkeyum avare thanre raajyathellaatavumulla sakala manthravaadikalilum aabhichaarakanmaarilum pathiratti vishishtanmaarennu kantu.20TSKCOMऔर बुद्धि और हर प्रकार की समझ के विषय में जो कुछ राजा उन से पूछता या उस में वे राज्य भर के सब ज्योतिषयोंऔर तन्त्रियोंसे दसगुणे निपुण ठहरते थे।21TSKCOMAnd Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.21TSKCOMദാനീയേലോ കോരെശ്രാജാവിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ആണ്ടുവരെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.21TSKCOMDaaneeyelo koreshraajaavinre onnaam aantuvare jeevichirunnu.21TSKCOMऔर दानिय्थेल कुस्रू राजा के पहिले वर्ष तक बना रहा।।
