तू ने तो मुझे ऐसी प्रजा का राजा बनाया है जो भूमि की धूलि के किनकोंके समान बहुत है।10TSKCOMGive me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?10TSKCOMആകയാൽ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു നായകനായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും തരേണമേ; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:11TSKCOMഅതിന്നു ദൈവം ശലോമോനോടു: ഇതു നിന്റെ താല്പര്യമായിരിക്കയാലും ധനം, സമ്പത്തു, മാനം, ശത്രുനിഗ്രഹം എന്നിവയോ ദീർഘായുസ്സോ ചോദിക്കാതെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ രാജാവാക്കിവെച്ച എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും ചോദിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും11TSKCOMAthinnu daivam shalomonotu: ithu ninre thaalparyamaayirikkayaalum dhanam, sampathu, maanam, shathrunigraham ennivayo deerghaayusso chodikkaathe njaan ninne raajaavaakkivecha enre janathinnu nyaayapaalanam cheyyendathinnu jnjaanavum vivekavum chodichirikkayaalum11TSKCOMपरमेश्वर ने सुलैमान से कहा, तेरी जो ऐसी ही मनसा हुई, अर्यात तू ने न तो धन सम्पत्ति मांगी है, न ऐश्वर्य्और न अपके बैरियोंका प्राण और न अपक्की दीर्घायु मांगी, केवल बुद्धि और ज्ञान का वर मांगा है, जिस से तू मेरी प्रजा का जिसके ऊपर मैं ने तुझे राजा नियुक्त किया है, न्याय कर सके,12TSKCOMWisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.12TSKCOMജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും നിനക്കു നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതല്ലാതെ നിനക്കു മുമ്പുള്ള രാജാക്കന്മാരിൽ ആർക്കും ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും നിന്റെ ശേഷം ആർക്കും ലഭിക്കാത്തതുമായ ധനവും സമ്പത്തും മാനവും ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.12TSKCOMJnjaanavum vivekavum ninakku nalkiyirikkunnu; athallaathe ninakku mumpulla raajaakkanmaaril aarkkum labhichittillaathathum ninre shesham aarkkum labhikkaathathumaaya dhanavum sampathum maanavum njaan ninakku tharum ennu arulicheythu.12TSKCOMइस कारण बुद्धि और ज्ञान तुझे दिया जाता है। और मैं तुझे इतना धन सम्पत्ति और ऐश्वर्य दूंगा, जितना न तो तुझ से पहिले किसी राजा को, मिला और न तेरे बाद किसी राजा को मिलेगा।13TSKCOMThen Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.13TSKCOMപിന്നെ ശലോമോൻ ഗിബെയോനിലെ പൂജാഗിരിയിൽനിന്നു, സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു തന്നേ, യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു വന്നു യിസ്രായേലിൽ വാണു.13TSKCOMPinne shalomon gibeyonile poojaagiriyilninnu, samaagamanakootaarathinte mumpilninnu thanne, yerooshalemilekku vannu yisraayelil vaanu.13TSKCOMतब सुलैमान गिबोन के ऊंचे स्यान से, अर्यात् मिलापवाले तम्बू के साम्हने से यरूशलेम को आया और वहां इस्राएल पर राज्य करने लगा।14TSKCOMAnd Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.14TSKCOMശലോമോൻ രഥങ്ങളെയും കുതിരച്ചേവകരെയും ശേഖരിച്ചു; avannu aayirathinaanooru rathangalum pantheeraayiram kuthirachevakarum undaayirunnu; avare avan rathanagarangalilum yerooshalemil raajaavinre atukkalum paarppichu.14TSKCOMफिर सुलैमान ने रय और सवार इकट्ठे कर लिथे; anganethanne avar hithyarute sakalaraajaakkanmaarkkum araamraajaakkanmaarkkum kontuvannu kotukkum.17TSKCOMएक रय तो छ: सौ शेकेल चान्दी पर, और एक घोड़ा डेढ़ सौ शेकेल पर मिस्र से आता या; और इसी दाम पर वे हित्तियोंके सब राजाओं और अराम के राजाओं के लिथे उन्हीं के द्वारा लाया करते थे।
